This arrangement in the key of G is ENTIRELY 'Chord-Melody" style.
Chord melody is essentially a straight melody, where the highest note of each chord is actually the melody of the song. This means you could play JUST the highest note in each chord all the way through and hear the complete and total melody.
It just sounds sooo much better with all of those supporting harmony chords.
This baby runs all over the neck and also uses some unusual and pretty passing chords...minor and diminished.
You'll definitely want to get this one down as an advanced chord study and a great piece to play on 4th of July.
