All of my Dillards arrangements are Basic Scruggs style arrangements, NOT "note-for-note" transcriptions of Doug Dillards banjo playing.
They capture the melody and spirit of the tune in question.
Some are "Fakebook" style arrangements that include the melody as sung on the top staff and the banjo back-up and solo on the 2nd and lower staff.
All are arranged in the key of G unless otherwise noted.
1. Copperfields: Fakebook style arrangement with ALL lyrics and a solo.
2. Dooley: Scruggs style solo
3. Groundhog: Solo in G that follows the melody and feel of the Dillards version.
4. Hey Boys: Fakebook arrangement with built in Scruggs style banjo solo.
5. Old Blue: Basic Scruggs style solo in G.
6. (New) Old Blue: Fakebook style arrangement and solo.
7. Old Man At The Mill: Played in gm modal out of standard G tuning.
8. The Old Homeplace: Basic Scruggs style arrangement in the key of G.
9. The Whole World Round: Basic Scruggs style solo in gm, out of standard G tuning
10. There is a Time: Basic Scruggs style solo in gm, out of standard G tuning.
