This characterization of Deep Purple's "Smoke On The Water" is a real piece for the banjo!
It copies the obvious chord melody riff of DP's famous tune and includes some Scruggs style in G where it fits to make it banjo-ey!
(I play tunes like this for my students who 1) want to play the banjo but... 2) Have interests 'outside' the usualy bluegrass and traditional music 'box'.
It puts a smile on their face EVERY time!
