This is a chord study in G, demonstrating some easy-to-play forward roll patterns over a chord progression that features transitional, walking-bass style accompaniment... It is tagged by a standard blues ending... There are twelve chords in the progression that include major, minor, dominant seventh, suspended fourth and diminished chords... It's a little more jazzy than straight blues... and fun to play...
It's a tune that I wrote, but I call it a chord study because it features 12 chords and slightly advanced handling of the harmony.
Harmonically it's a few steps higher than bluegrass.
