This fun little study in the key of G begins with the melody being played Chord-Melody style, folled immediately by a version featuring 2 handed 'tapping' which is essentially playing just the basic melody...not hard to do...after that it goes into a straight Scruggs style, Open-Position solo and back to the tapping version one more time.
It's a simple tune, a simple arrangement, but it gets people's attention when you star in with the tapping.
The whole idea of the tapping is to play the melody in 'triplet' form using the tapping as a vehicle.
It works and it's fun.
